Carl Dewhurst Trio - ‘Inner West Blues’

Carl has been honing his craft as a creative musician for over thirty years and is one of Australia’s most highly regarded jazz and improvising guitarists. He has featured on over twenty albums as leader or collaborator alongside musicians including Simon Barker, Louis Burdett, Kim Dong Won, Susan Gai Dowling, Sandy Evans, Stu Hunter, Bae Il Dong, Riley Lee, Roger Manins, Scott McConnachie, Bernie McGann, Matt McMahon, Lisa Parrott, Mary Rapp, Phil Slater, Scott Tinkler, and Cameron Undy.

This performance showcases a new set of original music, written during the hard Covid-19 lockdowns and inspired by his meanderings along the streets, open spaces, and waterways of the inner west. The trio features lifelong friend and collaborator bassist Cameron Undy and Alex Inman-Hislop on Drums.
